Trainee Energy & Sustainability Assessor

What we are looking for:

Full Time: Monday to Friday (08:30 to 17:00)

Part-time: Monday to Friday (09:30 to 14:30)

Location: Locks Heath, Southampton.

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic individual to join our team as Trainee Energy Assessor on either a full or part time basis.

As a Trainee Energy Assessor, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in conducting energy assessments, analysing data and providing valuable insights to our clients.

Experience in this field is desirable but not required as full training and support will be given to the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in training programs to learn about energy assessment methods, regulations, and software tools.

  • Assist senior assessors in conducting energy assessments for a range of commercial and residential properties.

  • Collect and analyse data related to energy consumption and efficiency.

  • Prepare reports and recommendations based on assessment findings.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to energy efficiency.

 

Requirements:

  • An interest in energy efficiency and sustainability.

  • Background in building, engineering, environmental science, or a related field is a plus but not essential.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Experience in SketchUp or equivalent design software would be ideal but not essential.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various work sites.
