Alma Vert is a recycled panel (sheet size 1.005x1.218m) used for hi-performance structural insulation with a thermal conductivity of 0.043 W/m.K.
Ideal for use in PassiveHaus and traditional timberframe construction to form a highly efficient thermal bridge free window installation used to form cavity closers around windows and doors in lieu of standard timber battens which can rot and is highly conductive.
Typically +25% cheaper than Compacfoam.
Plus order 15 sheets or more of any AlmaVert product to receive an extra 5% discount at checkout plus FREE delivery.
The Alma Vert 200 KG/m³ has a higher compressive and bending strength compared to the 115 KG/m³ meaning it can be used when point loads for window shims or packers are used. Where no point loads occur use the lighter weight 115 KG/m³ version, its cheaper and has a better thermal conductivity.
1 Sheet of Alma Vert can be cut into 50mm battens and will provide approximately 27.6m (linear meters), that's enough to cavity close nearly 6 standard windows at (1.2m x 1.2m) in size.
